Panim Hadashot

The Hebrew expression Panim Hadashot-פנים חדשות, pronounced Paa-neem Chod-ah-shote, translates into English as ‘new face’ or ‘new faces’. It is a term that first appears in the Talmud and is associated in Judaism with hospitality, inclusiveness, and the Jewish Sabbath. Panim Hadashot is a new Shabbat centered community in Seattle. Our team is dedicated to sharing in new ways Judaism’s greatest spiritual/ethical tradition, the Sabbath. Our team of leaders are Rabbi Dov Gartenberg, Dr. Joanne Gartenberg, and Josh Niehaus.
